Park Policies & Rules

We offer a family camping environment. A maximum of one family per site is permitted which includes two adults and their children per site. For a complete list of camping fees please our Family Camping page.

Reservations

  • Reservations can be made for the season starting May 1 on a first come first serve basis
  • Reservations are made by phone between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Friday-Tuesday
  • Holiday weekends require a minimum 3 nights stay and cannot be cancelled or modified

Payment

  • Full payment of camping fees is required at time of booking
  • Accepted methods of payment: Credit card, Visa Debit, E-TRANSFER

Cancellations & Modifications

  • Cancellations can be completed by the original permit holder by phone up to 7 days before the originally scheduled arrival date with the exception of holiday weekends
  • Reservations cannot be cancelled within 7 days of the originally-scheduled arrival date
  • Changes to the reservation can be made by the original permit holder up to 7 days prior to the originally scheduled arrival date (administration fees may be applied)

Refunds

  • Reservations cancelled up to 7 days before the originally-scheduled arrival date will be fully refunded less the reservation fee to the credit card that was used for the reservation (Holiday weekends are non-refundable)
  • Refunds will NOT be given for any of the following reasons including weather (rain, wind, snow, temperature), water quality (beach closures, non-potable water), air quality, wildlife, insects/pest, fire bans, liquor bans, leaving early or where notice is not provided, evictions.

Park Policy

For everyone’s enjoyment, the park policy must be observed. Failure to comply may result in eviction without refund.

  • Family camping only.
  • This park is a children’s playground, the use of profane language is strictly prohibited.
  • Speed must not exceed 10km per hour. Watch for children at play.
  • It is illegal to consume alcoholic beverages in this park except registered campers on campsites and then in moderation only. Anyone found impaired or not obeying the park’s policy will be evicted without refund.
  • Cartons and bottles must be kept in dwelling.
  • All campers must have a tent or trailer.
  • No glass bottles to be taken to beach or on hill. Anyone found taking glass bottles to the beach on the hill will be evicted without refund.
  • Campfires must be extinguished with water. Do not cover with sand.
  • No motorcycles allowed.
  • All pets must be kept on a short leash (2m or less) at all times and owners must clean up after them.
  • Everyone must be in their own campsite by 11pm and no loud parties or noise to disturb other campers after that hour.
  • No vehicles admitted after 10pm except on weekends and the months of July and August when the gates will be locked at 11pm. All registered campers not in by gate locking time must leave car at entrance and walk into their campsite. Gate opens at 8am.
  • All visitors must leave campgrounds by 11pm.
  • All visitors staying overnight must register and pay camping fee.
  • Anyone cutting live trees or destroying property in any way will be prosecuted.
  • No loud sound systems on cars or radios. Radios must be kept at a low volume during the day and turned off by 11pm.

Sand Hill and Beach Rules

  • No lifeguards on duty.
  • No alcohol allowed.
  • No glass containers allowed on hill or on the beach. Anyone found with such or alcohol will be promptly evicted without refund.
  • Water Conditions – use as a guideline only.
    • Calm water – no waves – no undertow
    • Rough water – waves breaking, white water present on first sandbar – possible undertow – swim with caution
    • Turbulent water – waves break, white water present on first two sandbars and beyond – undertow present – no swimming allowed.
  • NEVER SWIM ALONE.
  • Never go out over your head.
  • No tubes, rafts or any flotation allowed when water is rough or turbulent.
  • Stay away from the cement blocks. Some currents create holes.
  • No children (under 12 years) allowed unattended over hill or on beach area. If found there, the family will be immediately evicted.
  • ABSOLUTELY KEEP OFF THE CLIFFS. Stay on sand hill area and on beach.
  • Digging holes or crawling in caves, or leaving the park property will result in IMMEDIATE EVICTION.
  • All pets must be kept on a short leash (2m or less) at all times and owners must clean up after them.
